If you are interested in a class, GREAT!  If you are not sure what to expect, read on:

NEW: PDF Files will now be exclusively done for all online classes UNLESS you are not able to receive pdf file downloads. (webtv users for one) - please notify me ASAP if you cannot view or receive pdf files - and I will work with your teacher to get the class also online viewable that way.

As a class participant, you will be receiving a pattern in the mail (snail mail)  OR your pattern may be put into your Yahoo Discussion Group.

DISCUSSION GROUP:

This is a Yahoo group.  (www.yahoogroups.com) or www.googlegroups.com may be used as well.

If the class is very small, you will be given the email address of your teacher, or you will hear from your teacher before class starts to let you know you can contact them directly instead of having a discussion list for only one or two students.  If the class is already in session and has been for awhile, you will have contact direct with your teacher and not a discussion list unless you request it or if I feel like it is okay to put you in there.

You should have your supply list before the class starts, so that you may get your items prepared before hand.

Once the class starts, it will be posted in your discussion group where to find the class.  Usually I put it into the FILES section of the Yahoo groups now -- to keep it safe and handy for you to use at any time.  You MUST have a Yahoo ID (profile) set up to view the FILES section of the yahoo group.  I can send you a "profile request" and you can then fill it out (you do not have to give pertinent information) and have a Yahoo ID for all yahoo groups from then on out.  It makes the class easier and more convenient for the teachers and the students.

Please, if at all possible, use Internet Explorer to view my websites - the classroom included.  Also - when in the classroom pages and Internet Explorer, click on "File" then click on "Print Set Up" or "Page Set up" and make those left and right margins at .50" instead of the regular .75".  It will print much nicer.

PDF files will be available for most classes.  If you like that format- - it prints exactly as the teacher sends it to me.  To be able to view and print pdf files, you need to download the FREE Adobe Acrobat Reader via this website:

P.S. When each "lesson" of the class is posted, you will be notified asap so you can get in there and either save it to your hard drive to read later, or print out on your printer for a folder.  (this is how I like to do it)  

You are welcome to save the class to your hard drive, diskette or cd and use it as many times as you would like! You paid for the class, it is yours and yours alone - enjoy it!
